Our kitchen electrical installation service in Talke wires new kitchens and refits, from sockets and appliance circuits to under-cabinet lighting. We work around your fitter, and quotes are free.

Most kitchens need more sockets than people expect, especially above the worktop. We plan points for the kettle, toaster and other small appliances, plus switched spurs for integrated appliances, so the fridge, dishwasher and washing machine can be isolated without pulling them out.
Ovens and induction hobs usually need their own circuit with a cooker switch nearby. We check the ratings of your chosen appliances before the walls are closed up, so the right cable is in place and nothing needs redoing once the kitchen is fitted.
Good kitchen lighting combines general light with task light where you prepare food. We fit downlights, pendants over an island and LED strips under wall units, often on separate switches or dimmers so you can set the mood in the evening.
We go through the kitchen plan with you and your fitter, marking every socket, spur, switch and light. We check the consumer unit can take any new circuits, then send you a free quote covering first fix, second fix and certification.
First fix happens once the old kitchen is out, while walls are bare. After the units and worktops go in, we return to fit faceplates, connect appliances and lights, and test every circuit. You receive the certificate when the kitchen is finished.
Tell us what you need or what has gone wrong. We aim to respond the same day across Stoke-on-Trent.
We look at the job, explain what needs doing and give you a free quote before any work starts.
We finish the job, test everything we have worked on and hand over the certificate for your records.
Twice. First fix happens after the old kitchen is stripped out and before any plastering or new units, so cables can be run in the walls. Second fix comes once the units and worktops are in, when we fit sockets, switches and lights and test everything.
Many do. A new oven or induction hob often needs its own circuit, and a larger kitchen may need an extra socket circuit. New circuits are notifiable under Part P, and we register them with building control for you. Adding sockets to an existing circuit usually is not.
There is no single fixed distance in the regulations, but guidance suggests keeping sockets at least 300mm from the edge of the sink. We plan socket positions with water, worktop space and appliance locations in mind, so they are safe and still easy to use.
Yes. We often work alongside independent kitchen fitters around Stoke-on-Trent. We agree the plan and the dates with them, fit our first fix before the units go in and come back for second fix once they have finished, so the project stays on track.
